Scutellaria zhongdianensis evtl.
I received seeds of Scutellaria zhongdianensis from the 2004 RHS
seedlist. Seedlings are just re-emerging, so I decided to find what the
plant is going to look like. Well, no such plant seems to have been
written about. The RHS Plant Finder does not list it. A
Google search has offered lots of Incarvillea z. plus other Scuts,
but not this particular one.
Does it exist anywhere other than at Wisley? It has been offered
in the 2003, 2004, and 2005 RHS Surplus Seed Lists.
If no one else is growing it, is there a reason? Horrible thug, or
B.I.O. (botanic interest only) ?
